Banquets & Weddings
SouthWood Golf Club is the perfect venue for rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons, or any special gathering. Venues for such events include the Clubhouse, the SouthWood Room, the SouthWood House, and SouthWood Cottages.
Dining options range from hors d’oeuvres to dinner buffets. Our full bar capabilities can also be customized for your special event including host or cash bar.
SouthWood Clubhouse
The SouthWood Clubhouse seats up to 130 people for lunch, breakfast or dinner. Breakfast is only served on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. Lunch is served daily, and Dinners are served occasionally in the fall or the spring. The SouthWood Clubhouse can accommodate a 150 stand-up cocktail, appetizer reception for a wedding, or an 80 person sit-down buffet dinner wedding reception. The SouthWood Clubhouse is also available for rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, and other functions that do not exceed the size capacity.
SouthWood Room
The SouthWood Room is a private room inside the clubhouse which seats 20 people. This room is generally used for private business meetings, bridal luncheons or showers, farewell luncheons, and other small functions.
SouthWood House
Rich in history and originally built in 1865 the SouthWood House is newly restored to resemble its original and elegant historical appearance. Nestled among acres of rolling hills, majestic oaks, and native flowering trees, the charming manor is now a great backdrop to have an event of any type. Whether it is a corporate party, wedding, holiday gathering, or luncheon, The SouthWood House is a venue that will be a great showcase to any special occasion and can accommodate up to a 100 person stand-up cocktail, appetizer reception inside the house; anything larger has to be outside. SouthWood Cottages
Quaint cottages tucked amidst beautiful live oaks provide a charming setting for an overnight getaway or accommodations for your guests. Relaxing in your own private cottage on the grounds behind the historic SouthWood House is the perfect ending to any day. A variety of amenities and packages are available to fit your needs. We have five guest cottages on the grounds behind the SouthWood House. Three of the cottages have king beds, and the other two have 2 queen beds.
